Target Audience
Spine fellows, and early-career surgeons
Description
Spine surgeries are among the most challenging procedures, often associated with prolonged recovery, higher risk of surgical site infections (SSIs), and increased healthcare costs. This education session, led by expert faculty, explores the incidence and impact of SSIs in spine surgery. Experts provide a clinical review of hydrolyzed collagen’s role in wound management and a cost-effective analysis of incorporating CellerateRX Surgical Powder into a surgical workflow. Faculty will also present their approach to implementing a surgical wound complication management protocol aimed at preventing infections.
